The book fair is coming Monday, October 14th.
The Pope County Health Unit will provide flu vaccines to RSD students. The flu vaccine clinic for Oakland Heights students will be on Tuesday, October 15th from 8:30-11:30. Please note...The flu mist will not be available at the clinic. Consent and FERPA forms will be sent home later this week. These forms must be completed and returned to school in order to receive the vaccine.

School begins Wednesday, August 14th. Our day starts at 7:50. Please be patient as there will be lots of traffic in the morning. Student safety is our number one goal. We are looking forward to a great school year!
Letters including classroom teacher assignments will be mailed to Oakland families on Tuesday, August 6. Classroom rosters will be posted on school doors on August 12. Grades K-4
will host a Meet the Teacher Monday, August 12 from 5 – 7:00 p.m. Meet the Teacher is a come and go event for students to meet their teacher and see their classroom. Students may wish to bring school supplies on this day to avoid carrying them on the first day of school.
