First grade math can be so much fun! Ms. Golden's students teamed up with partners to build bridges using a variety of 3D shapes. This activity helped them understand how different shapes can work together to form new structures—while also encouraging teamwork and problem solving!

Mrs. Hudson’s kindergarten class is practicing their math skills with addition. The students were given counters that they got to shake, spill, and sort to create the two addends that they would need to write to find the missing sum.

Congratulations to our fabulous Oakland Heights Teacher of the Year, Keri Letson! This is Mrs. Letson's 24th year teaching kindergarten at OHE. She taught first grade in Osceola for 10 years before joining Oakland Heights staff. Our staff and students love Mrs. Letson, and we are so proud of her accomplishments! 👏👏👏❤️❤️❤️🤩🤩🤩

OHE Elementary Night for Soccer will be Friday, April 11, 2025. OHE students will be invited to go on the field at halftime (approximately 5:40 pm), and a few students will be chosen to participate in a shootout vs a Cyclone Keeper! We hope to see you there!
