Can you hold the sun and moon in your hands? Students are participating in activities that show distance can change the appearance of objects in the sky. The moon will cover the sun during the eclipse because the placement and distance are lined up perfectly. #EducateEquipEmpower

Students learned about pitch and sound waves demonstrated through several classical music pieces. Thank you to Bill and Sharon Eaton and Mary Lou Douglas from the Russellville Symphony Guild for inviting our guests, and to Mrs. Bell for always inspiring a love for music in all of our students!

Mrs. Hudson’s kindergarten class has been working on identifying events using fairy tales. The students listened to the “Three Little Pigs” and wrote about their favorite event that happened in the story. Each student decided if their event happened in the beginning, middle, or end. This was a fun way for students to practice retelling skills!
