There are some important announcements coming up that I want to make sure you are aware of and taking action on. First, students will have two virtual days next Monday and Tuesday. This means they will be bringing home a piece of technology and they will need to work from home. If you do not have access to internet in any way, please let your child’s classroom teacher know so they can make alternate plans for your child. If you do not notify them of this need, your child’s work will be on their computer.
Secondly, all of our parent/teacher conferences will be virtual this year. This means you need to set up an appointment with your child’s teacher so that you can get an update on how your child is doing this year. WE will have Spanish interpreters available, but again, a conference must be set up by either a phone call or a Google hangout or zoom. If you have not notified your child’s teacher about how you want to hold your P/T Conference, it is very important that you get that set up ASAP.
Our school buses will be running Monday starting at 9:00 to deliver meals for Monday and Tuesday for our students. If you want to access this free service, look for your child’s bus between 9-10 on Monday and be ready to get your boxes of food.
Schools will be closed Monday and Tuesday except for staff for deep cleaning. Please do not send your children to school or try to come to school on those days. If you need to contact the school, you may call or you may use the m ethods of communication your child’s teacher has created.
Please call the school at 968-2084 if you need help scheduling your conference or have any other questions.
