Oakland All Star Staff Highlight…Meet Kristen Bradley


Our Family Mental Health Night was a success! Thank you to everyone who attended. Special thanks to Mrs. Connerly for planning this event.





We love having interns from Arkansas Tech in our classrooms to work with our students as they are learning to become teachers.

Our Thanksgiving lunch is Thursday, November 17th. Forms were sent home earlier this week. Please complete and return the form if you are joining us, so our cafeteria staff can plan ahead.


Ms. Sutterfield’s first grade class is learning about two syllable words during phonics. Students were each given a syllable and had to find the person that had another syllable that when put together with their syllable would make make a real word.

Family Mental Health Night at OHE on November 3rd from 5:45-7:30. Lite dinner will be served and parents will listen to guest speaker about anxiety in children. School age kids will have projects to do with volunteers while parents listen to the speaker. We hope to see you there!!

Just a Reminder… School will be dismissed Monday, October 31 for staff development.
