We were so fortunate to have the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra perform for our 3rd and 4th graders today. Our students learned about the violin, viola, and cello. What a great experience for our students!

Our Book Fair will close this Wednesday at 1:00. We loved seeing our Oakland families shopping for books during conferences. Thank you so much for supporting our library!

Oakland All Star Staff Highlight...Meet Mollie Wiley

Students work hard everyday learning and sometimes they just need a little break to recharge. Brain breaks are the best way to help with students learning to self-regulate. Mrs. Hudson’s kindergarten class loves to do these! They help students be more productive and focus when continuing to learn at school.
#Makinglearningfun

Our second grade teachers make learning math so much fun! Mrs. Carter's class is learning how to solve two and three digit addition problems using place value charts and disks.

Future musicians! Fourth graders are hard at work learning songs on their recorders in Mrs. Bell’s music class!
