Cyclone Robotics

Cyclone Robotics showcased their skill and teamwork at January 25th's home tournament, bringing home 4 of 6 awards. All four high school teams performed exceptionally, ranking high enough in qualification matches to advance to the elimination tournament.

Teams 967K and 967W delivered strong performances but were eliminated in the quarterfinals. Meanwhile, 967T and 967X formed an alliance that led to an exciting finals showdown. After a nail-biting tie in the first match, they triumphed in the second, securing the tournament championship. This victory also qualified 967X for the state tournament, while 967T had already qualified earlier this season.

In addition to their tournament win, 967T achieved a “triple crown,” earning the Skills Champion Award, the Excellence Award, and the Tournament Champion title—a remarkable accomplishment in competitive robotics.

Cyclone Robotics will continue to compete regionally as they prepare for the State Tournament, held on March 15th at Tucker Coliseum. Stay tuned for more updates and cheer on your Cyclones as they keep the momentum going!
