Here's a look at how we start each day at London Elementary! When students enter the classroom at 7:55 a.m., breakfast is waiting for them on their desks. Breakfast is free for every student at our school! We have school-wide morning announcements where we say The Pledge of Allegiance together followed by a moment of silence. After that, we honor student birthdays and end with a special theme of the day:
Mindset Monday: A growth mindset quote to start our week off with positive thinking!
Talk Tuesday: A book talk is given by staff and students. Many students then check that book out when they go to the library!
Word Wednesday: A new vocabulary word and definition is given. We try to use that word and incorporate it into our vocabulary throughout the week.
Thumbs Up Thursday: We recognize students and staff who have gone above and beyond and who have reached personal goals!
Fun Friday: Staff and students tell a joke, riddle or fun fact! .
