Russellville School District

Ginni McDonald, Ed.D., serves students and families in the Russellville and London communities as the Superintendent of the Russellville School District. With more than 25 years experience in public education and academic leadership, McDonald specializes in continuous school improvement and strategy with a strong focus on student success. In 2016, she was named the NASSP 2016 Secondary Principal of the Year.

McDonald completed the American Association of School Administrators (AASA) Aspiring Superintendent’s Academy for Female Leaders in 2021 and the American Association of School Administrators Principal’s Supervisor Academy in 2018, and is a member of the American Association of School Administrators and the Arkansas Association of Educational Administrators. 

McDonald holds a Doctorate in Education and Educational Specialist degree from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, and a Master of Science in Special Education and Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Henderson State University in Arkadelphia. 

She and her husband, Joe, enjoy spending time with their daughter, son-in-law, and granddaughter, and traveling to tour Presidential libraries, museums, and baseball stadiums.
